The Challenge

In a very tight labor market, our task was a multi-hire campaign of four roles for a design build firm.

  • Junior Project Manager
  • Project Manager x 2
  • Senior Project Manager

The candidates needed to have experience in luxury high end residential construction. The local talent pool for these roles was small and required a wider geographical search. We were able to utilize our wide network and experience of hiring across multiple states to identify candidates who were open to relocation.

Our Solution

As an experienced and well-connected specialist search firm, Hudson Cooper Search had the advantage of being able to rapidly build a targeted list of potential candidates with relevant experience. By utilizing a competency-based assessment approach, we were able to ensure that not only did the candidate meet the experience levels required but were a good cultural fit with a relatively small team.

Identifying the candidates

We identified 182 potential candidates and, using our rigorous methodology, systematically worked through this longlist, gaining market intelligence on salary expectations and perception of the company in the market to produce a shortlist of candidates.

As a result of the quality of candidates sourced, all four positions were filled.
