They’re investing in and growing a division focusing on Education and Institutional projects in NYC, and they want a true delivery leader to own it from the ground up.

This isn't a BD role. You'll still be a builder first - walking jobs, leading teams, protecting margin - but with the autonomy to shape a whole sector around you. There are already warm relationships with the kind of clients you'd recognize. Your job is to deepen them and grow a real pipeline and lead teams to deliver quality work.  

They're not looking for someone to hold the fort; they want a partner to help shape what the next version of this firm looks like in education and institutional work: the processes, the standards, the talent.

To be right for this role, you'll need:

·        NYC / Tri-State GC/CM experience - hands-on delivery experience as Project Executive/ Senior Project Manager with a GC/CM

·        A track record running projects bid-to-closeout, under both stipulated/ lump-sum and GMP/CM contracts, with strong scheduling and financial controls (cost-to-complete, WIP, margin recovery)

·        Education and/ or institutional credibility - existing relationships with institutional owners/ educational clients and strong relationships with relevant owner's rep firms plus strong NYC subcontractor knowledge

·        Genuine line-management experience - you've led 6-8 people (PMs, APMs) with real accountability for their reviews, development and performance

·        Passion for mentoring and developing teams – accessible with an adaptive leadership style

On Offer:

·        Base salary circa $250k-300k + Bonus
